Suggested colors
Each color is its own part, pre-assigned to a filament slot. These are suggestions: use your own colors, print everything in one color, or paint and dry-brush.
How many clips? (Townhouse)
Townhouse assembly
Stonecroft Cottage assembly
One stone room with an open woodshed under the same roof. 241.6 × 127.2 mm, one story; the roof lifts off in two sections. Front is the door side; left and right are as you face the wall from outside.
These steps follow the component build (22 parts). The speed build goes together in the same order with one-piece walls, partition and cottage roof, so it needs no glue.
- OpenLOCK clips: 16 minimum (the center port of every bay), 48 to fill every wall-to-floor port. A plate of 60 is in the print files.
- 4 OpenLOCK magnetic clips for the woodshed roof (Printable Scenery, not included)
- 2 × 44.5 mm of 1.75 mm filament for the door pins
- Glue for the cottage roof section (component build only)
Hollybrook Cottage assembly
An L-shaped timber-frame cottage: hall, kitchen and parlor. 241.6 × 241.6 mm, one story. The roof lifts off in three pieces, one per room, so each room opens on its own.
Speed build: 19 parts. Component build: 27 parts, every 2″ bay and tile on its own. Front is the door side; left and right are as you face the wall from outside.
- OpenLOCK clips: 24 minimum (the center port of every bay), 72 to fill every wall-to-floor port. 84 are in the print file.
- 8 OpenLOCK magnetic clips for the roof joints (Printable Scenery, not included)
- 3 × 44.5 mm of 1.75 mm filament for the door pins
- Optional: the furnishings and yard props file
Gilded Tankard Inn assembly
A stone town inn: great hall with a gallery, a kitchen wing with two guest rooms above, and an outside stair down to the cellar. 343.2 × 228.8 mm (343.2 × 294 mm with the cellar-stair pit), cellar plus two stories.
Lift-off play: the roof comes off in two sections, the upper story lifts off on its trays, and the ground rooms lift off the cellar on theirs. Speed build: 61 parts.
Before you build: deburr the bottom edges of every wall and the edges of the lifting trays so the walls seat solidly. Once a floor is final, glue it to its tray so they lift off together.
- OpenLOCK clips: 70 minimum, 210 to fill every wall-to-floor port. 222 are in the print file (last two plates).
- 1.75 mm filament for the door pins: six pieces of 44.5 mm and one of 50 mm
- Optional: window glass, the hanging inn sign and the furnishings
Cinderbrook Smithy assembly
A stone village forge with a slate roof and a fenced horse yard. 228.8 × 127.2 mm, one story; the roof lifts off in one piece, chimney included. The yard tile is loose, so set it wherever your table needs it. Speed build: 9 parts.
Before you start: deburr the bottom edges of every wall with a fine file or deburring tool so the walls seat solidly on the floor.
- OpenLOCK clips: 12 minimum, 36 to fill every wall-to-floor port. 48 are in the print file.
- One 44.5 mm piece of 1.75 mm filament for the door pin
- A fine file or deburring tool
- Optional: the forge and yard furnishings
